The medical cannabis program (taking cannabis with a medical document from your healthcare provider) will be reviewed by the federal government and Health Canada in 2023. This survey is intended to inform this review through the development of a report about Canadians’ experiences in the past 3+ years of taking and/or attempting to access medical cannabis since the legalization of recreational cannabis in 2018.

This study is a collaborative effort between the University of Manitoba, McGill University, Santé Cannabis, Medical Cannabis Canada, and SheCann.
